The best electric (sonic) toothbrush ever. I used to have an Oral B sonic, and it was a really good toothbrush ... until it began to suddenly stop in the middle of brushing. After looking around quite a lot, I bought this HealthyWhite 2 mode toothbrush and love it. With the Oral B, the insides of my teeth would still have a little detectable coating on them after brushing -- but not so with the Philips. My teeth feel so much cleaner with this [And don't try to claim that I was not using the Oral B properly -- that would be a false assertion].

Works like the good ol' Sonicares, but has a smaller, probably not so efficient head on it with funky raised and lowered height bristles that don't contact all of the area you're trying to brush effectively. Would be perfect with a different design head. I'll be on the lookout for that. Other than that, it works great and has a nicely designed handle. Quieter, and less obnoxious than the Oral B Smart Guide toothbrushes. 8/10 stars from me.

I have chronic problems with my gums and see the periodontist regularly. I have used Sonicare for years, and mine finally gave out. I ordered this new, more streamlined model and I've definitely seen results. The brush head is smaller and easier to get into your mouth and along the gumline- even my dentist noticed the difference! Even if your old model works fine, I'd recommend the newer model if you have problems with your gums!
