This is another one of the effective, durable line of power toothbrushes from Sonicare, which was the brand recommended by my dentist. The best reason to purchase this particular model is that it comes with two complete brushes and one charger for a reasonable price. Most couples don't need two separate chargers in the master bathroom, and this configuration allows you to save a little money over the purchase of two complete brush/charger sets. Neither one of us needs the charger on the same day (each brush gets charged approximately one time per week, which takes about 18 hours for the full charge).
As far as the performance of this product, it has been reliable for the past two years. The signal between "quadrants" of your mouth is just noticeable enough to tell you to move onto the next area. It really leaves your teeth and gums feeling clean and fresh.
Brush head replacements are a little pricey, but easy to find on sale. If you join the Sonicare website, they send you e-mail coupons periodically for .00 off of a package.
I highly recommend this configuration of the Sonicare!

We have been very please with these tootbrushes. It has worked out well, as we share the charger between the two brushes. We have never used any brushes like this in the past, but decided to try them. The angled neck makes all areas easy to reach.
